Disclaimer Snippets provides a browser-based disclaimer generator, compliance checker, and template library at disclaimersnippets.com. You can use the core generator without creating an account. Text entered into the generator is processed in your browser. Text submitted to the Compliance Checker is sent to our service and stored in your private scan history so we can provide the requested report.
Accounts, authentication, and checker data
Google sign-in is provided through Supabase Auth. When you create an account, we process your email address, name, profile image, authentication identifiers, credit balance, purchase history, scan history, and the disclaimer text you submit for checking. Supabase provides authentication and database infrastructure. Do not submit confidential, privileged, or sensitive personal information. You may contact us to request account or scan-data deletion.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives payment and billing information needed to complete a purchase. Disclaimer Snippets stores transaction identifiers, product, amount, currency, credit allocation, and subscription status, but does not store complete payment-card numbers.
AI-assisted fixes
If you request an AI fix, the disclaimer text and identified findings are sent to our configured AI provider to generate a revision. Do not use this feature for confidential or highly sensitive information. AI output can be inaccurate and does not constitute legal advice.
Information processed automatically
When you visit the site, our hosting provider and analytics services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, and the time of your visit. Server logs may be retained for security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and improve the generator. Optional analytics storage is denied by default and enabled only after you select “Accept” in our cookie notice. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits and interactions after consent. Google may process information on servers in multiple countries. Microsoft Clarity
After you accept analytics cookies, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the site through session replays, heatmaps, and interaction measurements.
